Phil Wood

Owner, Phil Wood Garden Design and 2016 NWFGS Garden Co-creator

Phil Wood is the owner of Phil Wood Garden Design, a residential garden design firm in Seattle. Phil earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington and his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Cornish College of the Arts. He serves on the board of the Seattle Chinese Garden. Phil has designed 15 display gardens at the Northwest Flower and Garden show. His gardens have won many gold medals and are always a crowd favorite. For the 2016 NWFGS Phil co-designed the Washington Park Arboretum display garden, “The Hoh: America’s Rain Forest.”
