Announcing the 2017 NWFGS Theme
Sep 21, 2018, 17:02 PM
The Northwest Flower & Garden Show is often regarded as a harbinger of spring in the Pacific Northwest. The annual event is packed with fresh garden trends, new plants, and expert advice along with stunning blooming gardens in the middle of February.
To keep things interesting (and sometimes challenging), we choose an overall show theme that is often represented in our Display Gardens, City Living displays, and the Floral Competition. It’s been a wonderful success with 2015’s “Romance Blossoms” theme and “America the Beautiful” in 2016.
2017 will be a little different, and here’s why.
The 29th annual Northwest Flower & Garden Show will herald the season with our theme “Taste of Spring,” February 22-26th. Clear your calendar for a celebration of food, organic and urban gardening, sustainability, and variety of culinary experiences, including outdoor dining.
We will be presenting festive “plant, grow and eat” elements throughout the entire show. In fact, we are so excited for this theme that we’re adding a completely new section of craft food & beverage exhibitors, titled “The Tasting Corner.” I don’t know about you, but my mouth is already watering.
You’ll also see more expert seminars based on the theme, and even a brand new competition at the show.
We’re still working on the juicy details, so keep up with us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. You can also get the best Show updates and other garden goodies via our newsletter, the Fresh Sheet!
Join us February 22-26th, 2017 for the tastiest Northwest Flower & Garden Show yet.
New for 2017: The Tasting Corner, which will include local craft food and beverage exhibitors.
