Puyallup Tribe of Indians is the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Northwest Flower & Garden Festival, who will showcase ancestral knowledge, living culture, and community stewardship at the festival next week. When you visit, discover three experiences created by the Puyallup Tribe:
A vibrant Cultural Garden featuring native plants, Lushootseed language teachings, and lifestyle elements that reflect how the Puyallup people have lived in harmony with the land since time immemorial. Throughout the space, the Five Cedar Teachings share the deep significance of cedar in Puyallup culture.
A Historic Tribal Medallion, that served as the inspiration for the artwork designed by Puyallup Tribal member and artist, Daniel Baptista, to commemorate the Puyallup Tribe's historic role as the Host City Supporter of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Seattle.
An exclusive first look at a Selfless Station, created in partnership by the Puyallup Tribe and SeattlwFWC26, the local FIFA World Cup organizing committee. Selfless stations are part of a region-wide World Cup legacy initiative to spotlight the small businesses, cultural spaces, and nonprofits that make our region special.
Together, these experiences offer a meaningful way to explore the enduring relationship between the Puyallup Tribe and our region's plants, culture, and community. We cant wait to see you at the 2026 Northwest Flower and Garden Festival!
