Obsidian Windchimes/Deborah & Richard Bloom, have been creating and exhibiting at Fine Art & Craft festivals/shows and the best Flower & Garden shows since 1972.

PR: Most recently, our chimes appeared on Steven Colbert as part of a performance from Andree 3000! (find on Youtube) Our chimes have also been used quite a bit in movies and television in various sound mixes. Most recently, you can hear them in Avatar: The Way of Water (during breathing lessons segments).

Awards include: San Francisco Flower & Garden Show, Northwest Flower & Garden Show, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (Jazz Fest), Woodlands-Waterway Arts Festival (Texas), Mammoth Lakes Art Guild Show (Best of Show), Spirit Echoes Art Festival (Best of Show).

They have appeared in the following magazines/publications: American Craft (Summer 2023) Garden Design, Ornament, Crafts Report, Times-Picayune (New Orleans), Virginian Pilot (Virginia Beach), The Oregonian: Homes & Gardens (Feature); Collaborative shows: Atlanta American Craft Show (Make Rooms), Valley Art Gallery (Art in the Garden). Members of NAIA (National Association of Independent Artists, ACC (American Craft Council).
