Mary Caroline Craig is a native of the Seattle, WA area. She grew up in a family with 5 siblings and spent many weekends each summer camping and spending time outside. Mary has 25+ years of diverse, multi-industry experience in the art world. Most notable, she owned a floral design business for two decades where she brought joy to others through her creations at many special events. In 1999, she was injured in a car accident that sidelined many physical endeavors and endured debilitating pain on and off for over 25 years, she turned to painting to heal and grow stronger from the inside out.
Art isn’t an option, it is what brings her to life, fuels her, and gives her energy to share with others. When painting, time stops and life can be lived in full technicolor. For the past 15 years, she has used painting as her way of sharing joy with the world. Mary’s love of color, whimsy, and the outdoors, combine to create impressionist views on life. Whether in the studio or painting plein air, you will see her unique style come to life in colorful ways. Spots of color come to life with shapes to tell the story.
