In 2012 Elena was the guest editor for the American Rose Society Annual, and is an American Rose Society Consulting Rosarian Master Rosarian, and has been the Pacific Northwest District Co-chair of Consulting Rosarians since 2013. She is currently President of Kitsap County Rose Society, and a member of Tacoma Rose Society, Seattle Rose Society and Puyallup Rose Society.

Garden 101: Grow Gorgeous Roses

Sustainable Rose Growing

The Rose is the National Flower of the U.S. But here in the drizzly NW it can be frustrating to grow disease-free roses! Now you can discover how to grow roses beautifully and get answers to your rose questions. Join Consulting Rosarian and author Paul Zimmerman, ARS Master Rosarian Elena Williams and local rose author Nita-Jo Rountree for a look at which roses work best in NW gardens, how to grow them sustainably and organically, and how to integrate them into your garden for that beautiful “magazine cover” look.
