Dee Nash

Dee Nash is the author of The 20-30 Something Garden Guide, A no-fuss, down and dirty Gardening 101 for anyone who wants to grow stuff (St. Lynn’s Press, 2014). Dee is a writer, speaker and garden coach, born and raised in Oklahoma. She lives in the rolling Oklahoma hills with her husband, children, three dogs and several cats on 7.5 acres between the Great American Prairie and the deciduous forest. She gardens approximately an acre of land and grows vegetables, roses, daylilies, native plants and other perennials. She is a frequent contributor of writing and photography to Oklahoma Gardener magazine and is a columnist for Oklahoma Living magazine. She’s also written for Organic Gardening, Fine Gardening and Flower magazine. She’s also written online for: Lowe’s Corporation under their Lowes Creative Ideas Team blog in the South Central region; HGTV Gardens, Fiskar’s Corporation and Proven Winners Plants as a regional blogger. Dee has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism–Professional Writing from the University of Oklahoma with an emphasis in Botany. Dee’s blog, RedDirtRamblings.com, has won several awards, including a Gold Award for Electronic Writing from the Garden Writers Association. Better Homes and Gardens named it one of their ‘Top Ten Gardening Blogs in 2014’. Southern Living Magazine named Dee a ‘Blogger to Follow’ in 2014.
