Becky Sell is the owner and operator of Sedum Chicks, LLC in Salem, OR, a small specialty family-owned nursery, featuring outdoor hardy succulents for the Pacific Northwest. Hardy succulents are ideal in landscapes, containers, rock gardens, around ponds, in living wreaths, as borders, roof gardens and many other applications. They offer low maintenance, outstanding colors, textures and many seasonal changes. In 2015 Becky’s Sedum Chicks booth took 2nd place for the Metropolitan Productions award at the Yard, Garden & Patio show in Portland, and in 2009 she took 1st place from the Oregon Nursery Association for Best Booth Space. She has also won two awards at Sorticulture in Everett, including 1st place (2014) and 2nd place (2013). Becky has appeared on “In the Garden with Mike Darcy” on KEX radio, and on “Garden Time on KPTV, as well as in the Portland Oregonian, the Salem Statesman Journal and the Registered Guard in Eugene, OR.

The original “Sedum Chick,” Becky Sell will show you step-by-step how to plant your very own living wreath from hearty, outdoor sedums. She will discuss the features and benefits of hardy succulents and demonstrate step-by-step how to prep the wreath frame, plant your own beautiful wreath, as well as how to trim and care for the colorful, hardy succulents. Hardy succulents are inexpensive, easy to find, and come in a rainbow of colors.
