Rosemary Alexander

Once again luminaries from the world of garden design, organic gardening, horticulture and garden authors are appearing at the show — and it’s a who’s who roster of speakers. All seminars are free with admission, so passionate gardeners — both seasoned veterans and newcomers — can revel in the wit and wisdom of 90 speakers from around the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.

Susan Cohan

There will be 74 book signings after the seminars – the most ever offered at the show. Audiences can enjoy hearing their favorite speakers and then greet them after the seminar to get the latest addition to their garden library personally autographed.

Thomas Hobbs

The show’s 2013 show judges will each be giving two seminars at the show. Look for seminars on Wednesday and Thursday by British designer and founder of The English Gardening School, Rosemary Alexander; Susan Cohan, APLD, co-founder and co-editor of the new online digital garden design magazine, Leaf; and Thomas Hobbs, author of Shocking Beauty and The Jewel Box Garden and owner of the acclaimed Southlands Nursery in Vancouver, B.C.

Therese Ciesinski

Edible and organic gardening is more important than ever before, as people want to have delicious, healthy and safe food for their families. Subaru is proud to sponsor two leading pioneers in the world of organic gardening, sustainability and urban farming: Therese Ciesinski, Managing Editor of Organic Gardening Magazine, and ‘Coach’ Mark Smallwood, Executive Director of the Rodale Institute, both speaking on the impact of organic gardens and urban farms in today’s society.

Coach Mark Smallwood

Best-selling author of The Garden Primer, Barbara Damrosch, owner of Four Season Farm in Maine, will be giving a season-by-season guide to growing edibles on Friday and Saturday.
