Shawna Coronado is a successful author, blogger, photographer, and media host with green lifestyle living, organic gardening, and low-cost culinary who campaigns for social good. Her latest book, 101 Organic Gardening Hacks, was just released by Cool Springs Press in January. Shawna is also an on-camera spokesperson and social media personality with over 450,000+ followers on her various social media venues and a YouTube.com channel with over a million views. Shawna’s garden, food, and eco-adventures have been featured in many media venues including PBS television. Along with her gardening and green-lifestyle initiatives, Shawna is concerned about promoting and teaching healthy living. A diagnosis of severe Spinal Osteoarthritis has led her to educate audiences about beneficial diet, food, and health practices through her organic living media. She dreams that this will enable more people to be active who suffer from similar conditions. Her successful organic living photographs and stories have been shown both online and off in many international home and garden magazines and multiple books, including the best-selling Grow a Living Wall – Create Vertical Gardens with Purpose (Cool Springs Press, 2015).
Inspired by our hugely popular “Garden Wars,” we’re taking the battle to container gardening, perfect for patios, decks and balconies. Drawing from identical plant materials, Shawna Coronado will ‘compete’ against Jennifer Bartley as they each create 3 gorgeous containers—all in under an hour! Working against the clock, and with fun “challenges” thrown at them by Master of Ceremonies Marianne Binetti, see how Shawna pulls together plants and shares her tips for designing luscious container gardens.
