Seattle Tilth’s Chicken Coop & Urban Farm Tour 

Saturday July 12, 2014 from 10am to 4pm. Tickets are available on Seattle Tilth’s event page

As an event that’s been around for over ten years, this is your chance to experience Seattle as a national hot spot for chicken coops and urban farms. This self-guided tour will demonstrate simple and extravagant housing ideas for chickens, goats, ducks, mason bees, honey bees, and bunnies at 25 sites located all over Seattle. It is a must see.

Summer 2014 Plant Sale & Garden Open at Heronswood 

Saturday July 12, 2014 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free!

Explore the internationally known garden, shop from select local nurseries (including a past NWFGS garden creator, Fancy Fronds), enjoy lectures by renowned NWFGS speakers Dan Hinkley and Richie Steffen, and explore offerings from local tribal artisans. A $10 donation is suggested for touring the garden. 

Botanical Drawing Workshop at Molbaks

Saturday July 12th, 2014 from 10am to 11:30am. Class space is still open!

Want to learn a quick and gorgeous way to draw your garden? “Everyone can be successful with this method of ink drawing and watercolor,” meaning no drawing experience is necessary! All materials are included for you, so no need to go out and buy a ton of fancy pens.
